Dr Irwin Webster was born and raised in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. He attended the Durban High School. Upon completion of high school, he completed a bachelors degree in Medical Science and then proceeded to the Nelson R. Mandela School of Medicine, where he received his MBChB degree in 2006, and was awarded membership to the Golden Key Honour Society. 
He served his internship at Paarl Provincial Hospital and his community service at Caledon Provincial Hospital. Worked in Worcester Provincial Hospital as a medical officer in Paediatrics and it was his love and passion for children that led him to start specializing in Paediatrics at Tygerberg Provincial Hospital, through the University of Stellenbosch in 2011. He was awarded a Fellow of the College of Paediatricians of South Africa in October 2014. He worked as a consultant in Neonatology at Tygerberg Hospital before starting on his adventure in private practice. 
He enjoys working with children of all ages and sizes, but has a special interest in Neonatology and allergies in children.He is married to Marelize and in his free time enjoys spending quality time with his son, Alec and daughter, Emma.
